Mobile Wallet NFC Access Credentials

Enabling secure, mobile-first identity through unified digital credentials

The transition from physical cards to mobile credentials marks one of the most significant shifts in access control. While cards and fobs remain widely used, they present challenges in distribution, security, and lifecycle management.

Mobile wallet-based NFC credentials—leveraging platforms such as Apple Wallet and Google Wallet—are rapidly gaining adoption as they offer enhanced security, convenience, and scalability. Credentials can be issued, updated, and revoked instantly, while benefiting from device-level security features such as biometrics and secure elements.

Momentum is now shifting beyond credentials toward identity ecosystems. Mobile access will increasingly converge with payments, employee IDs, and digital services—supported by BLE and UWB for seamless, hands-free interactions.

We believe mobile access is the gateway to a unified digital identity layer. DDS enables this transition by providing a platform that integrates mobile credentials across multiple access systems, ensuring secure issuance, interoperability, and a consistent user experience—allowing businesses to move confidently into a mobile-first future.
